Saturday

Saturday got away from me and I didn't blog.  Drat.  It was a busy day.

Took Anthony to apply for a job at Goodwill, it was in a bit of an odd location to describe how to get there and I didn't know the name of the cross street so I drove him.

Went to Lowes and picked up Draino, sink-sized plunger (bathroom sink having draining issues) and a Thai Basil seedling. My herbs from seed refuse to sprout, and both my 1 year old cats have chosen taht spot as prime dust bath space, so I bought a basil seedling and had Byron dig a hole for me after I got home. Yes, I can dig holes. I can also use a screwdriver and pump gas and mow the lawn. However, those are things I choose to let my guys to.  I take care of the finances, most of the housework (now that I'm not working), 90% of the errand running and a billion other things, so the hole digging and gas pumping and screwdriver and lawnmower using goes to the guys.  As does garbage taking out.

Dinner last night was incredibly difficult.  Breaded spicy chicken sandwhiches (chicken from Schwans, buns from Costco) with provolone cheese (Costco) fries (Schwans) and made by Byron with carrots (fresh, from the produce store)

Anthony was asking about the Army and Air Force reserves, so I asked the source of vast knowledge and wisdom, a good friend of mine whose DH is in the Air Force (whilst waiting for Anthony to fill out a job app, using my handy dandy cell phone) and asked on the SL forums (a great way to find vast knowledge on all manner of subjects).  When we got home we also researched on the web.

I also did some long neglected schoolwork. I'm working on a 2 page paper on the behavior program of my choice. I picked Why Try. www.whytry.org.  One of the schools I observed at used the program.

A bit of work in the garden, some laundry, some readnig, some talking with my guys and some TV watching with Byron (we're on Season 6 of Deep Space 9 on DVD) and that was about my day.
