Misc. Thoughts

Day 4 of being fully back on Weight Watchers. I am loving the WW App for my iTouch, it makes tracking at work easy.

Tonight I'm reading a bunch of Children's Lit for class - tonight I'm focusing on Caldecott Awards winners and honor books, Casey at the Bat, The Little House, Ashanti to Zulu, The House that Jack Built and Madeline's Rescue. Later I'll go back to reading Little Town on the Prairie (Newbery Award book) and some of Seabird (Caldecott Winner)

I also printed off labels for mini-catalogs for a Pampered Chef show I'm hosting later in the month on May 26.

Senior Prom

A couple of weeks ago Anthony had his Senior Prom. He took his girlfriend, the lovely C. She's a junior. We like her very very much.

Busy busy

Today I worked 7-2:30

Met with the Christian Ed director at 3, we talked about

Summer Sunday School (I'm going to teach the third graders),

fall Sunday School (I' m gonig to teach the 4th graders for both 4th and 5th grade)

Women's Bible study (I'm going to lead a 7 week Beth Moore Study)

Women's Bible Study part II, I recommend a super book called Women of the Bible: A One Year Devotional Study of Women in Scripture

and

VBS where I'm going to be oranizing/admistrating the K-2 set, they will have a teacher, games people, crafts people (thank the Good Lord Above, I'm SOO not crafty) and snacks people. I'll make sure the K-2 crowd is running well. Someone else is doing the Pre-K and someone else the 3-5.

Then I came home, worked with Anthony on his history (finishing up Ancient Greeks and on to Ancient Rome in two weeks), dicussed his last week of Public School with him, then drove to the lirbrary with Anthony to pick up books I had on hold.

Back home again it was time for dinner (chicken breast, rigatoni with pesto and green beans)

then off to church for Bible Study on Genesis.

Now to print off some Pampered Chef flyers about Help Whip Cancer products this month and read for a bit.

It's Spring

It's Spring and time for me to start blogging again. In 3 weeks I'm off work for the summer.

I'm busy right now with

starting Children's Lit tomorrow,

building up my Pampered Chef Business to two shows a week

Anthony graduates high school shortly. He's nearly done with Public school (electives) May 18 is the last day for seniors. He'll finish his homeschool work shortly thereafter.
