ado Springs this weekend from the state where she lives. So, I'm going what comes naturally - inviting my Sonlight friends over to see her.One friend, Alissa, should be here in a little bit, she's from New Mexico. Another friend, Marie, from Michigan, just happens to be in town getting her daughter settled here for college. A third friend, who has a 3 week old baby, is coming down tomorrow and a 4th friend who lives in down will be here tomorrow. Other friends were to come, but due to one reason or another, weren't able to make it.

What an interesting little phenomenon, the online meetup. I think SL has done a great job of causing a bunch of people to reach out to almost strangers, and benefit from it, don't you?
ReplyDeleteYes indeed. I have friends all over the country that I first met on SL. Whenever I go somewhere, I have someone to stay with all due to SL. It's an amazing community, even if it's not perfect, but then what is?
